Our story

We opened Piváreň Chmeľ because the area was missing a place with an honest selection and a good atmosphere. We started with four taps, today we have twelve and we know the brewers we pour from. The principle stayed the same — beer is poured slowly and with respect.

We do not want to be just a bar. We run quizzes, invite bands and hold tastings, because a pub should be a place people look forward to. The kitchen cooks to match the beer so everyone finds their thing — from potato pancakes to a sharing platter.
